Suggs   Monday, St George’s
A one-man show from the Madness frontman, “as he unravels the mysteries of his own life, exploring the ups and downs of an astonishing thirty-year career spanning pop music, radio, television, film … and the pie-and-mash industry”.

An Evening with the Chefs   Tuesday, Pump House
Head chefs from the Pump House, Pony & Trap and New Inn come together to deliver a special eight-course menu. If that’s not enough, chefs from our top restaurant of last year, The Ethicurean, will join the team at The Pump House (our top pub of last year).

Elected mayor debate   Wednesday, The Council House
What problems would an elected mayor solve? Would an elected mayor make Bristol greater? Join Bristol City Council leader Barbara Janke, red-trousered architect George Ferguson and others as they argue over what will be a huge decision for our city.

Bound   Thursday to Saturday, Bristol Old Vic
“Six actors, five chairs, one table and an ocean.” Told with traditional sea shanties, Bound is the story of six trawler men about to embark on one final voyage. “Defying storms, friendships and their lives ashore, will they lose more than a way of life?”

Spector   Friday, Louisiana
One of the BBC’s Sound of 2012 nominees, Spector are named after the murderous record producer and next month will be supporting Florence & The Machine on tour. One of those bands who probably won’t be on stages this small for much longer.

Gurt Lush Choir & Bristol Male Voice Choir   Saturday, Colston Hall
With 200 members, the Gurt Lush Choir is Bristol’s biggest community choir. At their winter concert alongside the Bristol Male Voice Choir, they promise “to lift the roof off the Colston Hall and blow away those winter blues”.  All proceeds to St Peter’s Hospice.
