Monday-Thursday & Sunday: Dirty Stop Outs, Bierkeller Theatre
Six new pieces pieces of writing, devised and written for six different spaces in the Bierkeller Theatre, all performed by 25 actors in one night.

Tuesday: Gabrielle Aplin, Thekla
Currently tugging at the heartstrings on the John Lewis Christmas advert, the 20-year-old City of Bath College graduate has more than three million YouTube views.

Tuesday: Rhod Gilbert, Colston Hall
The multi-award winning Welsh comedian, a regular on Live At The Apollo and with his own BBC One show Ask Rhod Gilbert, returns with a brand new tour.

Wednesday-November 28: French Film Festival On Tour, Watershed
A chance to see French films that have not yet been picked up for a UK distribution deal. Films on show include A Better Life, 17 Girls and A World Without Women.

Thursday: The Queen visits Bristol
Queen at the Old Vic, not what you might first think, but a Royal visit which will also take in Bailey Caravans in Bedminster, a trip to Hartcliffe and a tour of M Shed.

Thursday-Saturday: LOVE: Tobacco Factory Theatre
“An immoderate Shakespearean ménage à trois, with a touch of Shirley Bassey. It is about passion, spirit, beauty, jealousy, manipulation, lust.”

Friday: Ben Folds Five, Academy
A gig which many fans thought would never happen, as the original members of Ben Folds Five return to the UK for the first time since 1999.

Friday-Sunday: Massive Attack Weekend, BBC Radio 6 Music
Three days of Massive Attack will feature music that influenced Blue Lines, a Gilles Peterson interview with Daddy G and 3D, and a Bristol-themed playlist.

Saturday: Trading Local, Bedminster
On East Street in the morning and North Street in the afternoon, this is theatre in shops and on the street thanks to funding from the Mary Portas Town Team initiative.

Saturday & Sunday: North Bristol Art Trail
More than 100 artists exhibiting across a variety of media in their own homes across Bishopston, Cotham, Montpelier, Redland, St Andrew’s and Westbury Park.
