Wiper and True

21 12 2012

A new Bristol brewing company is selling bottles of its first brews at the Corn Street Christmas market tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. Wiper and True have not yet got their own brewery, so currently make their beer at breweries who allow them to use their equipment while they look for a permanent home.

Bottles and gift packs are also available in the Star & Dove in Totterdown, The Hillgrove in Kingsdown and The Lanes in the city centre.

A bottle of their amber ale that I purchased yesterday from their stall on Wine Street had been brewed at the Ashley Down Brewery on Wathen Road, while other beers have been made in Somerset and Essex.

“We are beer evangelists,” the Wiper and True website states. “We started brewing because we love beer and we want more people to enjoy it in the way we do. Our aim is to brew extraordinary beer that challenges perceptions of what beer is and how it can be enjoyed.”
