The Bristol Shop

The Bristol Shop is a new website for products that are designed or made in the city. The website has been designed to exclusively promote the work of Bristol designers, artists and companies selling products with a Bristol theme. It is also the first ecommerce site to allow payments in Bristol Pounds.

The Bristol Shop logoThe aim is to have more than 200 suppliers on the site by the end of the year, alongside 2,500 products to buy.

The Bristol Shop is a collaboration between Guide2Bristol and DoItOnTheWeb.

The website will take 30 per cent from all items sold.

“We meet so many people around Bristol doing really brilliant creative things, and we think it’s really important to try and use our visibility to help promote them,” said Ruby Millard from Guide2Bristol, part of a global network of franchise websites from Aquitaine to Uganda.

“I think it will really surprise people just how many great things are made and sold here in Bristol.”
