Cider, cider everywhere

8 03 2013

With the apples still merrily rolling down the Christmas Steps after the launch of Bristol’s first ever cider map comes the news that the Bristol Cider Shop will be hosting a Bank Holiday Cider Spectacular on May 5 and 6 at the Southbank Club on Dean Lane in Southville.

The event will feature more than 30 varieties of cider and perry on offer, and organiser Pete Snowman also promises “a dazzling array of sausages”.

There will also be live music and other activities including cider tastings, cider speed-dating and a free half pint to anyone who comes in wearing a medal from Sunday’s Bristol 10k.

Entry to the festival is free during the day on Saturday and all day on Sunday. Tickets for the Saturday night party cost £5 and are available now. For more information, visit
