Preview: Word:Play/NWxSW, Alma Tavern

25 03 2013

One word, “Division”, has been the inspiration for six new plays at the Alma Tavern Theatre. Each 15 minutes in length, the plays form part of the cross-regional Word:Play/NWxSW, featuring three works by North West writers and three from South West writers, including former Venue editor Tom Wainwright.

Word:Play/NWxSW is at the Alma Tavern Theatre today and tomorrow. For more information, visit www.boxoftrickstheatre.co.uk/wordplaynwxsw.html.

Also at the Alma Tavern Theatre this week, from Tuesday to Thursday, is Kid Carpet & The Noisy Animals, a brilliant show for children reviewed on these pages last year here when it was at the Cube. Visit the Alma Tavern website to book tickets.
