The gorgeous South Indian restaurant Cafe Ganesha, just up from Cafe Grounded, where the staff give you heartfelt recommendations (“don’t bother with the poppadoms, what you want is a dosa…”

On the other side of the road, the Italian-owned gelataria (part of Bottelino’s restaurant), and the art gallery with cafe and gift shop (jewelry, toys, arty cards, secondhand books).

Windmill Hill City Farm and its cafe and events. The Windmill pub! Warm and welcoming, with Bristol Beer Factory beers and good pies.

The Victoria Park on Raymend Road, also good food. The Star and Dove on St Luke’s Road – excellent food and range of ales, served by friendly staff and chefs.

We’re on the up here in Bemmy….

Every one needs to know that the gelateria next to Bedminster Library has morphed into the most welcoming and craving fulfilling cafe called ‘CAKE’

Lovely homemade cakes and sandwiches. Super coffee and tea. A place to call ‘home’ i think.

Don’t forget the Bristol Blue Glass Bedminster Works, at St. Catherine’s. Not only blue glass, but also engraved and carved glass, and glass in all sorts of colours. Glass has been made on this site since 1716!
