The best thing about Ashley Down is that is bordered on one side by St Werburgh’s – boasting a street of great eateries in Mina Road, such as the Marrakhesh, Biblios etc, and the Organic Better Food supermarket on Sevier Street.

And bordered another side by the Gloucester Road stacked with great places, and also by Montpelier (with the Thali, Bell’s Diner, Radford Mill Farm shop on Picton Street).

St Werburgh’s – bordering Ashley Down – also includes GRO-FUN with allotment pot-luck feasts and St Werburgh’s City Farm Cafe.

But hmnnn…nothing in Ashley Down itself…

The Lazy Dog pub quiz on Tuesdays. All the usual current affairs and pub goers trivia, along with a play dough model making round and a tasting/ dentifying the tea/ chocolate/ cheese etc.
