First Cinébites tonight at Watershed

4 09 2012

Today sees the launch at the Watershed of Cinébites, a new cinema meal deal which for £15 buys a cinema ticket for a Tuesday evening film, a bowl of risotto or pasta, and a drink (a small glass of house wine, a bottle of Peroni or Corona, or a soft drink) which can now also be taken into the cinema.

Alternating weeks will see pasta and risotto being served, and there will always be a choice of veg or meat/fish. Tonight’s launch evening’s films include Bristol-set psychological ghost story In The Dark Half, Berberian Sound Studio, Samsara and Shadow Dancer, with the food choice kicking off with pasta.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but that doesn’t really seem a fantastic offer for a Tuesday night…it would have to be a fair bit cheaper to get me along.
